Opportunity:
• 300+bed TJC-accredited acute care hospital
• Provides administrative and clinical leadership for Women’s and Children’s Health Services, including labor and delivery, postpartum, newborn nursery, pediatrics, and a Level I NICU
• Guides service line initiatives focused on enhancing care quality, patient experience, and operational efficiency
• Oversees development of care models and programs that promote maternal, infant, and pediatric well-being, including family-centered practices such as skin-to-skin and newborn bonding approaches
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards across all service areas
• Leads recruitment, retention, staff engagement, and professional development activities
• Manages departmental resources, financial performance, and long-range planning
• Collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, and organizational leadership to strengthen care coordination and support high-quality clinical outcomes
• Promotes a workplace culture centered on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
• BSN required; RN license required
• 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in Women's and Children's Health
• Background in maternal, newborn, and pediatric care settings with understanding of regulatory expectations
• BLS and ACLS required
• Strong communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to guide departmental operations, quality initiatives, and staff development
