Opportunity:
• Develops and implements comprehensive sourcing strategies for healthcare products and services
• Leads sourcing teams focused on optimizing costs, improving product quality, and maintaining strong supplier partnerships
• Collaborates with operational and clinical leadership to align sourcing initiatives with organizational goals
• Oversees contract negotiation, market analysis, and supplier performance evaluation to ensure value-driven outcomes
• Ensures all sourcing activities adhere to applicable healthcare regulations and internal compliance standards
• Drives initiatives that achieve measurable cost savings, total cost of ownership improvements, and supplier innovation
• Develops and manages supplier relationship management (SRM) programs, performance scorecards, and regular business reviews
• Leads strategic sourcing projects across multiple categories, supporting both system-level and facility-level needs
• Utilizes data-driven insights to support decision-making, budgeting, and performance improvement efforts
• Fosters collaboration and communication between clinical departments, finance, and supply chain operations
• Acts as a key resource and subject matter expert for ERP systems, with a preference for Workday experience
• Promotes best-in-class supply chain management processes and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare supply chain management
• At least five years of progressive supervisory/management experience
• ERP proficiency required; Workday experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and executive leadership teams
• Skilled in developing and managing budgets, statistical reporting, and inventory control
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management abilities
• Proven track record of implementing high-level PAR replenishment systems and cost optimization strategies
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering exceptional internal customer service
• An effective relationship builder with proven ability to engage and collaborate with professionals at all levels of hospital staff.
