Opportunity:
• Oversee the health system's purchasing, inventory management, and courier services
• Develop, implement, and monitor Supply Chain network goals and objectives
• Integrate technical and human resources to support the organization's mission and strategy
• Manage annualized supply expenses and capital expenditures
• Work directly with the leadership of each facility to exceed service expectations
• Optimize supply chain operations across multiple hospital facilities
• Implement best practices in receiving, storage, and distribution activities
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with vendors and suppliers
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required; Master's degree preferred
• A minimum of 10 years of hospital supply chain experience required
• At least 5 years of leadership experience is required, preferably in multi-hospital supply chain settings
• Extensive experience with receiving, storage, and distribution activities
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of supply chain management
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to develop and leverage relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ethical behavior and decision-making
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and financial reports
• Experience in implementing and managing supply chain technologies and systems
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements related to supply chain operations
