This position offers the opportunity to lead an organizational assessment and provide strategic guidance within a growing and evolving health system.

Our ideal candidate will be highly proficient with various credentialing software platforms and possess proven experience in leading software system transitions, including implementation, optimization, and post-launch stabilization. They will play a key role in shaping operational efficiency and ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions across the MSO.

• Onsite assignment
• Reports to highly supportive system leadership
• Serve as an experienced consultant evaluating the structure and operations within the Medical Staff Services department for this large acute care health system
• Assess departmental workflows, staffing levels, and overall functionality
• Review and recommend process improvements for provider credentialing, payer enrollment coordination, and committee operations
• Work closely with senior leadership to develop recommendations for optimizing department performance and alignment with system goals
• Collaborate with department leads and administrative staff to ensure timely credentialing and privileging processes
• Provide feedback and recommendations for technology utilization

• Certification in Medical Staff Services Management (CPCS and/or CPMSM) is highly preferred
• Minimum 5 years of current hands-on Medical Staff Office administrative leadership experience with an understanding of accreditation and regulatory standards related to medical staff functions
• Proven ability to assess and realign departmental processes and team structures to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Excellent communication, organizational, and change management skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
• Available to travel to the client site and work a full-time schedule, M - F, or as needed
