• 3+ month assignment | 275 Providers/Active Members
• Coordinates, monitors, and maintains all credentialing-related duties, including initial credentialing and re-credentialing
• Assists with meeting management but not call schedule
• Helps maintain accurate maintenance of departmental records, confidential physician data, and hospital correspondence
• Utilizes a variety of electronic databases to ensure current compliance
• Ensures that practitioners are fully credentialed on time without allowing privileges or other credentialing requirements to expire
• Verifies that all licensures (State license, DEA, DPS, etc.) and other required certificates are up to date and filed in the practitioner’s credentialing file

• Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM), Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred
• Minimum 5 years of current hands-on Medical Staff Office credentialing experience with an understanding of accreditation and regulatory standards related to medical staff functions
• Experience with Joint Commission, CMS, and other laws/regulations preferred
• MSOW credentialing software experience
• Must possess current California credentialing requirements experience
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
• Available to travel to the client site and work a full-time schedule, M - F, or as needed
