We seek a highly qualified Interim Accreditation Consultant with extensive experience in California healthcare accreditation and regulatory compliance. The ideal clinical candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, robust problem-solving abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements within California's healthcare landscape.

Opportunity:
• Reports to the Interim Director of Quality
• Collaborate with leadership to address corrective actions identified during mock surveys conducted by The Joint Commission (TJC)
• Provide expert guidance on California-specific regulatory requirements and accreditation standards to include TJC, CMS and CDPH
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance compliance and maintain readiness for future accreditation reviews
• Support the Quality department in preparing the organization for successful survey outcomes
• Monitor and lead progress on corrective action plans and ensure timely completion of required tasks
• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on accreditation goals and initiatives
• Review and update policies and procedures to ensure they meet current regulatory standards
• Prepare detailed reports on accreditation readiness, including findings, recommendations, and action plans
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Active RN license required
• Familiarity with Block Charting documentation methodology
• Experience using the Tracers with AMP software platform required
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR is preferred
• Proven expertise in healthcare accreditation, with a strong focus on California-specific requirements
• In-depth knowledge of TJC, CMS and CDPH standards and survey processes
• Demonstrated ability to assess, strategize, and implement corrective actions effectively
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
• Available to travel to the client site and work a full-time schedule, M - F, or as needed
