Galileo Search seeks a Clinical Leader and Change Agent with extensive experience rebuilding Quality, Patient Safety, and Medical Staff programs. The selected Consultant will partner with Senior Leaders to evaluate and develop a clear vision and strategy and define measurable objectives for the Quality Management and Medical Staff programs. This will involve an in-depth evaluation, creating and implementing a step-by-step plan to achieve goals, including timelines and milestones. The ability to successfully deploy the defined initiatives while providing departmental operational support as needed is also a key criterion for this assignment.

Opportunity:
• Report directly to the Chief Medical Officer, providing updates on quality metrics, improvement projects, and any areas of concern
• Provide critical leadership in the quality management and medical staff services functions
• Embed quality management principles into the organizational culture.
• Ensure compliance with TJC standards and other regulatory requirements and prepare the organization for upcoming TJC accreditation surveys
• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate best practices in patient care
• Provide education and training to staff on quality management practices, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas of improvement
• Implement action plans to address issues/problem areas
• Oversee the credentialing, privileging, and performance evaluation processes for medical staff to ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) with significant experience in quality management program assessment and process improvement
• CPHQ, CPPS, or CPHRM highly preferred
• Proven experience in a leadership role in quality management in an acute care hospital environment
• Strong understanding of quality improvement methodologies, regulatory requirements, and TJC accreditation processes
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
• Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and drive change
• Available to travel to the client sites and work a full-time schedule, M - F, or as needed
