Immediate Need | Interim Assignment | 100% Remote (MT Hours Required)

Step into a high-priority interim role supporting a hospital Medical Staff Services department that requires immediate, experienced support. This is an ideal opportunity for a credentialing professional with strong MDStaff experience, available now and ready to contribute from day one in a fast-moving environment. This Interim role reports directly to the Director of Medical Staff Services and works within a focused, collaborative 4-person team supporting a medical staff of approximately 200+ active providers. The engagement centers on maintaining workflow continuity and driving progress on critical, time-sensitive initiatives.

Remote (MT Hours Required)

• Provide full-scope credentialing support, including initials, reappointments, and expirables tracking
• Immediate availability required
• Leverage MDStaff for daily workflow management — must be able to step in with no training
• Initiate and manage urgent outreach for ALCs with upcoming fall deadlines
• Support ongoing department priority projects requiring immediate attention
• Collaborate closely with leadership and team members to ensure continuity of operations
• Manage a high volume of work with tight deadlines and competing priorities
• Maintain compliance with accreditation standards and internal policies
• Ensure documentation accuracy, timely follow-up, and consistent progress across all assignments

• Immediate availability required
• Proven interim/contract Medical Staff Services experience strongly preferred
• MDStaff experience REQUIRED — must be hands-on and current
• Deep knowledge of credentialing processes, including initials, reappointments, and expirables
• Experience supporting hospital-based medical staff populations
• Demonstrated ability to quickly integrate into an existing team and produce results immediately
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
• Effective communication and follow-through
