Opportunity:
• Reports to the VP of Operations
• Provides oversight of all Human Resource functions, including recruitment, retention, employee benefits, workforce growth and development, policy development, employee relations, and personnel information management
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Develops and implements HR policies and programs that align with organizational goals and promote a positive work environment
• Partners with department leaders to address workforce planning, performance improvement, and employee engagement initiatives
• Oversees employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes with fairness and consistency
• Drives initiatives to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization
• Utilizes HRIS systems to maintain accurate records, streamline workflows, and support data-driven decision-making
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three (3) years of management/supervisory experience
• Understanding of employment laws and regulations, including ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEOA, workers’ compensation, and unemployment insurance
• Experience working in a rural health care setting or a Critical Access Hospital preferred
• Prior Human Resources certification from HRCI or SHRM a plus
