This organization seeks a proven leader with a demonstrated quality management track record over a multi-site (acute care) hospital system.

Opportunity:
• Leads a team of 6 Quality and Infection Prevention team members and advocates for system-wide quality and accreditation initiatives
• Creates a vision and actionable strategy to achieve world-class quality standards across hospitals and outpatient departments
• Collaborates with System Quality and clinical leaders, serving as a resource and advisor while proactively identifying opportunities to enhance operational, clinical, quality, and patient satisfaction outcomes
• Provides strategic leadership for quality and performance improvement efforts throughout the system
• Partners with leadership to shape the strategic direction and system-wide plans for delivering high-quality patient care across the healthcare continuum
• Oversees the successful development and implementation of the organization’s Quality strategy across all care sites and service lines
• Develops and executes plans to standardize clinical processes and procedures using nationally recognized, evidence-based care standards across all hospitals
• Assesses clinical and administrative processes to identify best practices and establish mechanisms for sharing these practices system-wide
• Provides mentorship and fosters staff development among Quality leaders, promoting consistency in best practices for quality management
• Serves as a key resource for the system in interactions with accreditation and regulatory bodies
• Cultivates strong, positive relationships with team members, medical staff, senior leaders, and patients
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related clinical field preferred; Master’s strongly preferred
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
• Seven to ten years of progressive clinical and/or quality leadership experience, with a minimum of five current years in management
• Previous experience with proven leadership in regulatory and accreditation survey readiness, quality improvement and patient safety in an acute care system or facility required, including demonstrated ability in interpreting quality metrics to lead actionable change
• Knowledge of national standards as well as national benchmarks to include all elements of national quality initiatives (e.g., NHSN, TJC, CMS)
• Working knowledge of quality management and performance improvement principles, practices and techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work with all levels of healthcare providers, including physicians
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of data collection methodologies, interpretation/analysis and decision support databases
• Excellent communication, presentation and organization skills
