Director of Quality | Critical Access Hospital (CAH) | RN Required | Pacific Northwest
Location:
Opportunity:
• Provide onsite leadership and mentorship to the QA team, focusing on re-aligning processes
• Guide clinical staff in understanding and implementing actions to improve performance and scores
• Oversee and enhance Infection Prevention (IP) and Employee Health (EH) programs
• Chair and influence key committees: Board QA Committee, Medical Staff QA Committee, and Clinical Process Improvement Committee
• Conduct readiness rounds in departments to ensure ongoing compliance with DNV, state, and federal standards
• Serve as the hospital's liaison to DNV officials and other regulatory agency administrators
• Manage risk, ensure compliance, and improve the overall performance of the hospital
• Analyze and interpret data using EPIC, driving decisions and priorities with actionable insights
• Oversee the reporting of quality and patient satisfaction metrics to external entities
• Facilitate resolution of family/visitor issues and maintain open communication with department leaders
• Prepare the facility for DNV accreditation surveys
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Current RN license required
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a quality director leadership role
• CPHQ certification preferred
• Lean certification or Six Sigma training is preferred
• DNV (Det Norske Veritas) experience highly preferred
• Strong experience with EPIC and data evaluation
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience highly preferred
• Experience in accreditation processes, conducting mock surveys, and regulatory reporting
• Just Culture certification is a plus
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
