Opportunity:
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the two Skilled Nursing Facilities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care
• Ensure effective management of the Skilled Nursing departments, the only departments reporting directly to the DON
• Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
• Oversee nursing staff recruitment, training, and evaluation, fostering a culture of continuous professional development and excellence
• Collaborate with hospital administration and other department heads to align nursing services with overall facility goals and objectives
• Manage nursing budgets, resources, and staffing levels to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
•Ensure effective communication and collaboration among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient care outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
• Address and resolve any issues or conflicts related to nursing services and patient care
Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Healthcare Administration preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing leadership experience in a hospital or skilled nursing facility setting
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, nursing standards, and best practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
•Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and staff effectively
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
