Opportunity:
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout all examinations
• Operate ultrasound equipment to produce accurate, high-quality images in a timely manner
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and organizational guidelines related to imaging services
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnoses
• Assist with maintaining equipment functionality and reporting any operational concerns
• Support patient flow and adapt to varying volumes across multiple service areas
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education opportunities
• Travel between locations as needed to support imaging coverage across facilities
Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited ultrasound or diagnostic medical sonography program
• Prior clinical experience in abdominal and OB/GYN ultrasound preferred
• Vascular ultrasound experience is a plus
• ARDMS certification or ARRT registration with eligibility to obtain required credentials within a defined timeframe
• AHA Basic Life Support certification required
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations as needed
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, and patient care standards
• Ability to produce high-quality images efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
