• Highly-visible leadership role with a direct reporting relationship to the CEO
• Acute care hospital setting with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and patient safety
• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for hospital pharmacy services
• Oversee clinical, operational, and regulatory aspects of the pharmacy department to support safe and effective medication use
• Develop and maintain departmental goals, policies, and procedures consistent with regulatory, ethical, and professional standards
• Ensure readiness for accreditation surveys, audits, and regulatory reviews through ongoing monitoring and preparation
• Manage pharmacy staffing activities, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and staff development
• Lead budget planning, expense monitoring, and resource utilization for the department
• Collaborate with medical staff, nursing leadership, and administration to support patient care initiatives
• Promote evidence-based practices and continuous improvement in medication management processes
• Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and service excellence within the pharmacy team

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program is required
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred
• An active pharmacist license or the ability to obtain licensure before starting
• Progressive leadership experience in clinical hospital or acute care pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and medication safety practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage operations, and collaborate across departments
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization
