Opportunity:
• Provides strategic and operational leadership for all clinical care areas, including Nursing, Pharmacy, and Rehabilitation Services
• Serves as a key member of a 6-person executive leadership team, participating in weekly C-suite meetings
• Leads and advocates for nurse managers and clinical leaders, serving as their liaison at the executive level
• Oversees and integrates the care delivery system to ensure quality, safety, and patient-centered outcomes
• Collaborates across departments to align operations with the mission, vision, and values of the organization
• Drives performance improvement and readiness for accreditation surveys; DNV experience is strongly preferred
• Works closely with senior leadership and department heads to champion innovative practices and elevate staff engagement
• Ensures nursing practices comply with state and federal regulations and leads initiatives to meet rural health and Critical Access Hospital (CAH) standards
• Supports and advances a broad range of hospital services, including Emergency, Surgical, Infusion, Rehab, Stroke, Diabetes Prevention, Swing Bed, Imaging, Lab, Hospice, and Walk-In/Urgent Care programs
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
• Active RN license
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory-level experience in an acute care setting (Manager, Director, Executive level)
• Previous Critical Access Hospital leadership experience required
• Strong understanding of rural healthcare delivery and patient population needs
• Familiarity with regulatory standards, including DNV, CMS, and rural health compliance
• Transparent, visible leader and excellent communicator
• Proven ability to influence and engage from C-suite to department managers
