Opportunity:
• Design, implement, and maintain self-service business intelligence portals, dashboards, and other associated reporting platforms
• Develop and maintain business intelligence solutions to support data-driven decision-making across all necessary divisions of the Health System
• Collaborate with various departments to identify data needs and create insightful dashboards and reports
• Analyze complex healthcare data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate activities among stakeholders across the Health System to understand data definitions, data needs, and gaps
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all platforms
• Participate in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and patient care through data analytics
• Stay current with emerging technologies and healthcare industry trends
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field is required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with large-scale applications, preferably including report/dashboard development using tools like Business Objects, SQL Server Reporting Services, Tibco Spotfire, Qlikview, or Tableau, and data modeling with relational database management systems
• Familiarity with Business Objects, Tibco Spotfire, SSRS, SSIS, Performance Analytics, Hyperion Reporting, and clinical business knowledge is beneficial
• Knowledge of data warehouse/ETL design and development methodologies
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Knowledge of healthcare data structures and terminology (e.g., HL7, HIPAA) is a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to present complex data in an understandable format
• Self-starter with proven ability to create project plans and execute them successfully
• Ability to scope, plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects
• Experience working within rigid time constraints
• Strong reasoning ability and good independent judgment
• Ability to work well in a progressive, team-oriented environment
