Opportunity:

• Report directly to the AVP of Supply Chain, supporting the departmental strategic development and tactical execution
• Oversee the organization’s sourcing strategy, vendor performance management, supply chain contracting, distribution, MMIS informatics, and value analysis program
• Maintain and develop all aspects of Supply Chain Distribution Services
• Act as a liaison between requesting departments, legal teams, and suppliers for contract renewals, negotiations, execution, and problem-resolution
• Collaborate with legal counsel and other experts to review supply and equipment contracts, ensuring terms and conditions align with the hospital’s policies and procedures.
• Proactively prioritize prime vendor needs, managing resources effectively through supply forecasting and operational efficiency
• Provide direction on customer service levels, including communication about backorders, substitutions, and product availability
• Oversee the administration, maintenance, and integrity of Supply Chain Information Systems, including software applications, EDI/telecommunications, inventory, and purchasing point-of-use systems
• Manage MMIS data governance, partner management, and supply chain operations informatics
• Analyze spending and utilization to support strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization
• Ensure optimal supplier selection for product sourcing, maximizing supply chain strategies and cost efficiency
• Lead the Value Analysis Program by identifying opportunities for cost reduction, standardization, and increased efficiency in products and processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• A minimum of 7 years of hospital supply chain experience
• Extensive knowledge of savings reporting, third-party analytics, and benchmarking programs
• Maintain a professional and customer-centric approach in challenging situations
• Work independently with broad directions and self-motivation
• Prioritize workload to achieve maximum efficiency
• Communicate effectively with diverse individuals across the organization
• Maintain confidentiality with a thorough understanding of HIPAA standards and regulations
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic and high-pressure environment
