Interim Health Plan Credentials Coordinator | MD-Staff Experience Required | Onsite | Southwest
Location:
Opportunity:
• Reports to the Director of Health Plan Credentialing
• Addresses a backlog of Providers awaiting enrollment, ensuring timely and accurate completion of the enrollment process
• Monitors and updates the status of clinician and payer applications while diligently tracking their progress
• Collects and effectively manages all credentialing documents for the network of providers
• Prepares and submits enrollment applications to insurance companies and closely monitors their processing
• Collaborates with the recruitment and hospital credentialing teams to coordinate onboarding documentation
• Ensures timely completion of re-credentialing requirements mandated by payers
• Accurately enters and maintains provider information in the credentialing database
• Interacts with physicians, physician office staff, hospital personnel, insurance company representatives, and patients, consistently delivering exceptional customer service
• Prioritizes and expedites the enrollment of Providers requiring immediate attention
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Provider Enrollment and Health Plan Credentialing
• In-depth knowledge of provider enrollment procedures for Medicare, Medicaid, and various Commercial Payers
• Familiarity with the policies, procedures, and regulations governing medical insurance carriers, as well as state and federal rules
• Demonstrated ability to organize tasks, plan effectively, and make sound decisions
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Highly experienced with MD-Staff software required
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities
• Skilled in effectively communicating with team members, supervisors, client personnel, and insurance contacts
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
• Available to travel to the client site and work a full-time schedule, M - F, or as needed
