Experience includes the development of hospital-wide infection control programs with clearly defined goals; development and institution of policies; monitoring healthcare-associated infections (HAI); facilitating the reduction of HAI through perfor-mance-improvement activities and other initiatives; preparing facilities for H1N1 influenza and COVID-19.
