RECENTLY FILLED - Interim Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist | Symplr Software Expertise Required | Remote

Remote

• 3+ month assignment
• 2 acute care facilities with approximately 600 Providers
• Coordinates, monitors, and maintains all credentialing related duties including initial credentialing; re-credentialing; overseeing the onboarding process of incoming providers; and offboarding existing providers
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date records in the medical staff database
• Highly proficient with Symplr web-based software
• Ensures that all licensures (State license, DEA, DPS, etc.) and other required certificates are up to date and filed in the practitioner’s credentialing file

• 5+ years of current credentialing experience
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) a plus
• Symplr software expertise required
• Working knowledge of state licensure, board certification, professional scope of practice and familiarity with graduate medical education
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
