Galileo is proud to represent an experienced Healthcare Quality/Risk Leader who is an RN, MS, LHRM, CPHQ. She has demonstrated success in all aspects of Health Care Quality improvement, utilizing 30+ years of Clinical Nursing knowledge. Extensive experience directing and managing hospital teams to successfully develop meaningful improvement metrics and effectively maintain mandatory accreditation status. Proven ability to consistently motivate teams to develop and meet both internal and external quality goals. Twelve years of clinical experience; eight years as a Staff Nurse, and four years as a Nurse Manager, before starting her career in Quality for the last 16 years.

EXPERTISE

• Cultivated relationships with all levels of hospital associates and communicated organizational needs effectively
• Able to collate and assess quality data to develop action plans to improve said data
• Completed and directly involved in multiple TJC and CMS surveys
• Responsible for all aspects of Quality, Accreditation, Medical Staff and Risk Management
• Directly reporting to senior management and overseeing teams of up to 14 direct reports
• Fostered a robust collaborative environment
o Builds relationships with both Clinical and Medical Staff to improve all quality metrics and reduce risk to patients and clinicians
o Developed the members of the quality team to explore their strengths and function effectively throughout the organization
o Nurtured the team and developed their roles to match their skill sets
o Realigned the Quality team to work closely with clinical peers to develop innovative methods of improving patient care
o Fosters a collaborative environment between the Quality and Nursing departments motivating her team to develop solid working relationships with other clinical departments
• Facilitated a team that improved both the care and the outcome of patients suffering from acute myocardial infarction. Improved door to balloon time of 90 minutes or less from 27% of patients to 100% of patients consistently receiving the appropriate interventions
