She has over 30 years’ experience in medical staff and credentialing and has a progressive work history which includes past positions as specialist, manager and has held a system director role.

Her current experience was over a four-hospital system, where she led a team of 8 full-time employees and has proven her ability to manage high volume provider credentialing of over 1,900 Physicians and Allied Health professionals.

• Experience with a startup psychiatric service line where she supported a new CMO, the CEO, and other medical staff leadership during a time of transition
• Prior long-term experience as Director, Medical Staff Services where she was a valuable resource to medical staff leaders and senior administration including governance, credentialing, budget, contract physician payroll, the medical staff team leader while supervising and leading eight employees
• Led a multidisciplinary physician EMR training implementation team
• Former position as Director, Medical Staff Services at a636-bed acute care hospital with 4 FTEs, where she managed medical staff peer review process developing physician reappointment profiles
• Completely restructured allied health professional credentialing policies and procedures
• Initiated a CME program; established policies and procedures; received CME accreditation from the State Medical Association
• Developed and implemented a successful physician relations program including clinical activity analysis and service needs assessment
• Drafted and revised Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules & Regulations for multiple facilities in compliance with state and federal regulatory agency requirements
• Very technically savvy; proficient with numerous EMRs and Software Programs –expert knowledge and experience with Echo and MD-Staff
• Innate ability to problem-solve and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement
• Organized, calm under pressure and possesses exceptional communication skills
