• Provides strategic leadership for Operating Rooms, PACU, Ambulatory Surgery, Preop, Surgery Scheduling, and Central Services departments
• Successful leadership of TJC and HFAP accreditation surveys
• A-Z construction expertise and experience working collaboratively with architects and leadership on new construction and remodel projects
• Planned and implemented start-up surgical growth initiatives in Robotic surgery, Orthopedics, Bariatric, Spine, and Colorectal as well as advanced diagnostics in the GI Lab
• Implemented a rapid change process to address operational and regulatory deficiencies, resulting in a successful Joint Commission survey with zero deficiencies
• Led project to standardize sterility practices in all procedural areas of the hospital
• Established new staffing standards, admitting processes, quality improvement programs
• Responsible for standards of care, performance improvement, budgeting, education and compliance with regulatory requirements
