• Strong leadership experience supervising, mentoring, and providing guidance to nursing managers and clinical staff of up to 120 FTEs
• Reviewed, revised, and updated over 150 expired policies for various clinical departments including ED, ICU, Respiratory, Surgery, Stroke, etc. resulting in TJC compliance for policies
• Chargemaster review and assessment – reduced unbilled ED accounts from $1M to < $500,000 within the first six weeks of assignment and maintained below $100,000 during the tenure • Improved and maintained ED productivity at 95-102% • Instrumental in TJC preparedness assessments and implementation of strategies for a successful survey • Improved HCAP Overall Rating Score from the 60th percentile to the 80th percentile and managed department overtime (3%) and productivity (between 98 – 102%) • Excellent communicator who partners with the CNO to establish standards of nursing practices and creates an environment that encourages retention of clinical staff • Self-starter and energetic leader with the ability to develop rapport and build solid relationships with staff, physicians and administration
