• Collaborates with Directors, CNO, and CMO to ensure optimal day to day operations and achievement of clinical, organizational and regulatory standards
• Planned and coordinated the opening of new OB Emergency Departments
• Establishes recruitment and retention strategies, recently decreasing department turnover from 15% to less than 4% while filling 8 vacancies in a market without another L&D unit
• Instituted a postpartum hemorrhage cart to include policy and procedures which resulted in a reduced number of patients requiring blood transfusions
• Strengthens competency expectations to include only hiring Certified Surgical Technicians to fill vacancies in L&D ORs; resulting in increased patient safety and improved patient outcomes
• Managed the successful integration of OB Hospitalist group
