• Developed plans designed to improve the overall quality of the organization and patient care services
• Supported and communicated the serious safety event process including event reporting, disclosure, root cause analysis, action plan development, and ongoing monitoring to ensure the effectiveness of countermeasures
• Provided hospital-wide education on HCAHPS / patient experience; led unit-specific quality projects to improve HCAHPS scores
• Provided leadership to all departments to ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, and accrediting agencies
• Collaborated with management, medical staff leadership, and clinical staff to conduct performance improvement activities and safety initiatives
• Provided day to day operational accountability for the hospital-wide quality, performance improvement and patient safety program
