Galileo Search is conducting a national search for an experienced Market Director to drive strategy, lead teams, and maximize resources in pursuit of bold departmental and organizational goals.

This Regional Health Center provides comprehensive emergency, surgical, cardiac, rehabilitation, and specialty services. Through significant recent investments, it has strengthened its role as a cornerstone of healthcare, demonstrating a continued commitment to the community with modern facilities and expanded offerings.

Opportunity:

• Reports to the Chief Executive Officer and supports a medical group of approximately 100 providers across 30 specialties
• Provides oversight for clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflows, strong financial performance, consistent communication, and alignment with hospital and system goals
• Leads practice growth initiatives, revenue cycle analysis, performance monitoring, and development of key operational strategies
• Meets with providers on a biweekly and monthly basis to review operational updates, service needs, financial trends, and ongoing performance goals
• Ensures monthly reports are prepared, delivered, and reviewed with physicians and APPs, including weekly financial discussions as needed
• Participates in weekly and annual physician services meetings, contributing to planning and operational improvement efforts
• Develops departmental goals and operating standards that support clinical quality, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements
• Oversees staffing functions, including hiring, onboarding, evaluation, performance management, and support for continuing education
• Manages departmental budgets, evaluates historical trends, sets future targets, and prepares action plans for variances
• Reviews and presents financial performance for assigned clinics, collaborating with clinic leaders to ensure accountability and adherence to budget
• Provides guidance to Clinic Administrators through ongoing communication, coaching, and performance development
• Assesses clinic practices for opportunities to improve efficiency, including charge capture, accounts receivable oversight, budget processes, and monthly operating report preparation
• Supports practice start-up activities, including revenue-building strategies, program development, and fee schedule evaluation
• Implements market plans to drive new patient growth and strengthen clinic performance
• Manages support staff within assigned clinics, including performance reviews and HR-related responsibilities
• Coordinates and directs internal and external audits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree is preferred. An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training will be considered
• Minimum of seven years in physician practice management or a related healthcare setting, with proven leadership responsibility
• Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) is preferred
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
• Strong experience with clinic operations, financial performance oversight, provider relations, and process improvement
