Are you an experienced Medical Staff Services and Provider Enrollment leader looking for a rewarding interim opportunity? This position offers the chance to mentor a dedicated team and drive operational excellence for a well-established healthcare system serving diverse communities in the Midwest.

Situated in a beautiful, centrally located region of the Midwest, this assignment is accessible via multiple airports within a short drive. The area combines urban conveniences with easy access to outdoor recreation, offering a welcoming and inspiring setting.

• 3+ month assignment
• Multi-hospital healthcare system, including a regional medical center and critical access hospitals
• Oversee Medical Staff and Provider Enrollment operations, reporting to the Associate VP, Quality & Safety Operations and leading a team of 5 FTEs
• Lead a team of Credentialing specialists and Provider enrollment specialists managing payer credentialing workflows
• Implement and optimize credentialing and enrollment software and associated modules
• Manage critical priorities:
• Medical Executive Committee (MEC) operations, including elections and policy oversight
• Credentialing for new service lines and critical access hospital governance
• Compliance submissions and resolution of payer denials workflows
• Establish standardized workflows, ensuring process efficiency, accurate documentation, and robust record-keeping
• Strategic Initiatives:
• Mentor and manage succession planning for potential future leaders
• Build strong relationships with clinical and operational teams to enhance collaboration and efficiency

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role in both Medical Staff and Provider Enrollment
• Proficiency with Cactus - Symplr credentialing software systems and experience in medical staff services leadership
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including NCQA and critical access hospital guidelines.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
• Available to travel to the client site and work a full-time schedule, M - F, or as needed
