Interim Chest Pain Program Manager | RN | Hospital | Texas
Location:
Opportunity:
• Serves as a liaison to administration and represents the cardiovascular program on various hospital and community committees to enhance and foster excellence in cardiovascular care
• Educates nursing and ancillary staff on the best practices of ACS (Acute Coronary Syndrome) and AMI (Acute Myocardial Infarction) patients
• Develops and supports education to meet all requirements of Chest Pain Accreditation
• Recommends protocols and guidelines for best practice treatment of cardiac patients across the continuum of care
• Oversees, analyzes, and trends data related to the throughput of cardiac patients and provides data to the applicable hospital leadership to initiate changes as appropriate and improve processes and outcomes
• Assures compliance with all Joint Commission and other applicable regulatory agency guidelines
Qualifications:
• Associates Nursing degree required; Bachelors degree preferred
• CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred
• Chest Pain Program Coordinator Certification preferred
• 3+ years of healthcare experience and over 2+ years of quality management experience required
• Proficient in computer skills using EXCEL, PowerPoint, clinical systems and registry databases
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
• Available to travel to the client site and work a full-time schedule, M - F, or as needed
