Our client is a highly specialized medical professional liability insurance company.
Candidates must have insurance industry experience to be considered for this position.

Opportunity:
• Develops internal and external strategic and operational communications
• Creates and edits communication materials and develops organizational standardization
• Leads others responsible for corporate support services across functions to drive consistency, efficiency, and collaboration
• Engages with leadership in a fast-paced environment and provides high-quality materials for executive-level presentations and communications for all company, town hall, and quarterly business function meetings, policy communications, internal messaging, and external client-facing presentations and messaging
• Works closely with executive support services team members across functions who perform traditional executive administrative duties to creatively and holistically support the organization’s communications needs in a remote environment
• Designs, develops, edits, and delivers high-quality communications and materials for varied/diverse audiences using appropriate media
• Assists HR in designing, developing, and implementing virtual and in-person employee engagement activities, including celebration, recognition, and team-building events
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years experience in corporate communications or equivalent
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry required
• Knowledge of corporate governance principles and managerial best practices
• Proven organization, project management, time management skills, and strong attention to detail
• An analytical mind capable of “out-of-the-box” thinking to solve problems
• Current experience working with and around Boards of Directors and/or senior leadership teams and committees
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and public speaking/presentation skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Skilled in building relationships, rapport, and credibility with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Technologically proficient in MS Office suite of applications / Excel
• Strong familiarity with video collaboration platforms/tools and their operational functionality (e.g., Zoom)
• Available to travel once or twice per quarter for corporate strategy meetings
