Opportunity:
• 30 FTEs / 38 Physician Clinics to include multi-specialty
• Monitors AR indicators to ensure AR focus is aligned with meeting the financial performance goals of the facility
• Works with each area to review performance and provide support and recommendations to assist in achieving monthly and fiscal year goals
• Coordinates outside agencies and outsources coding to ensure productivity, accuracy, and workflow support, achieving KPIs
• Works with the Practice Managers, Directors, and VP of Ambulatory Services to ensure coordination with the practices and open communication regarding workflow and process improvement opportunities, coding and charging improvement, claim rejection, and denial management
• Ensures the staff receives training as needed, work and projects are prioritized, ensures productivity and QA are trended and reviewed with the staff at a minimum monthly, and manage team resources to ensure a consistent level of performance
• Facilitates process and procedure improvements through the use of root cause analysis and the production and presentation of reports to management
• Provides financial and KPI information monthly to PFS and Ambulatory leadership to gauge the current status and collaborate on any improvements or changes that may be necessary
• Oversight of vendor relationships and vendor performance
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Health Administration degree required
• 7+ years of progressive management experience with a large healthcare organization that includes multispecialty practices, AR billing, and revenue cycle required
• Governmental payer regulatory billing requirements preferred
• Cerner Revenue Cycle experience a plus
• Outstanding communication skills, diplomacy, good listening capability, strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
