Opportunity:
• 28 FTEs
• Rural Community Hospital with 80+ deliveries per month
• Oversight of OB, L&D, and Postpartum
• Responsible for direction of patient care in the maternity and newborn care setting
• Accountable for the management/operation of the departments and the development and maintenance of interdisciplinary relationships between all levels of departmental staff
• Ability to foster a collaborative environment between staff members and an ability to achieve operational goals through influence and expert change management skills
• Responsible for capital and operating budgets, compliance, and maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities
• Responsible for nursing quality programs that are outcome-oriented
• Responsible for the clinical direction, quality outcomes, and financial health of the service line
• Delivers quality and safe level of patient care
Qualifications:
• BSN required, Master’s degree preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) required
• Minimum of 5 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting, including progressive management responsibilities
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
• Capable of managing multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and prioritizing scheduling of work
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
• Available to travel to the client-site and work a full-time schedule, M - F, or as needed
