• Available to travel to the client-site M-F required, although there is an opportunity for a remote/hybrid work structure once the role has been established
• 300-bed, TJC Accredited teaching hospital
• Reports to a highly supportive VP of Quality Services
• Analyzes underlying causes and contributions to gaps and work with leaders to close gaps
• Supports the organization-wide commitment to continuous readiness for CMS, DOH, and TJC licensing and accreditation surveys, including assessment, corrective action planning, auditing, and document production
• Collaborates with hospital leadership on the development of required documents in preparation for surveys
• Identifies opportunities for improvements based on evidence-based practices in regulatory and accreditation compliance, analysis of internal and external compliance/risk assessments, and findings from regulatory authorities
• Contributes to the development, ongoing review, and revision of clinical services standards (policies, protocols, procedures, guidelines) in accordance with legal, professional, regulatory, and accreditation standards and within appropriate timelines
• Communicates with involved organizational personnel about accreditation/regulatory requirements, implications to the healthcare environment, and strategies to reliably achieve compliance


• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field required
• RN preferred but not required
• CPHQ preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an acute care hospital with a focus on Accreditation and Compliance
• Collaborative, supportive, team-building, and mentoring managerial/operational style
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
