Manager - Performance Improvement | Hospital System | East Texas
Location:
Opportunity:
• Provides operational support through reporting, analytics, current state and future state workflow assessment, opportunity and gap analysis, solution development, project planning, project implementation, and benefits realization
• Assists leadership in identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and implementing changes with a strong focus on outcomes and results
• Oversees the project life cycle and manages teams to obtain desired objectives
• Collaborates with the team to provide the overall leadership and coordination of performance improvement efforts across the organization
• Develops and implements strategies to improve the patient experience, increase efficiency, and reduce costs
• Serves as coach and mentor to staff regarding performance improvement strategies, tools, and processes
• Provides operational support through weekly and monthly operational reporting, analytics, current state, and future state workflow assessment
• Evaluates operational effectiveness of individual clinic locations as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
• 3-5 years of directly related experience in healthcare PI, finance, operations, and team leadership
• Lean/Six Sigma, Project Management certification, or other relevant credentials preferred or acquired within the first two years
• Sequel/SQL
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, strategic management, change management, communications, team building, continuous quality improvement, problem-solving, innovation, financial management, and stewardship of resources
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of hospital staff
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations related to health care and accrediting/certifying agencies such as The Joint Commission and CMS
• Strong written and verbal communication and proficient computer skills are essential
