We have an immediate interim opportunity for a seasoned Infection Preventionist with recent COVID-19 outbreak experience in hospital and clinic settings.

Southwestern U.S.

• 3+ month assignment
• Reports to the Director of Infection Prevention
• Conducts surveillance, analysis, reporting, risk reduction, and outbreak control
• Provides consultation on infection risk assessment, prevention, and control strategies
• Educates employees and providers about infection control
• Serves as a thought leader for infection prevention and control
• TJC Accreditation Standards and Survey experience preferred

• RN, MT(ASCP), or MPH
• CIC Required
• Five years of current experience in acute care infection prevention and control
• CAH and LTC experience preferred
• Knowledge of COVID-19 preparedness and clinical setting protocols desired
• Proven knowledge and experience in the practice of epidemiological principles and infectious disease as they relate to infection control and prevention
• Available to travel to the client-site and work a full-time schedule, M - F or as needed
