Opportunity:

The Associate Director is responsible for the daily planning, management, coordination, and execution of key clinical initiatives under the leadership of a highly supportive Senior Director. The Associate Director is a facilitator and collaborator that supports the Subscriber led Clinical Leadership Committees to help gain consensus and manage project activities/objectives. Using claims data and other clinical information, the Associate Director collaborates with Subscriber’s clinical leaders to proactively identify risk reduction opportunities and recommend evidence-based practices aimed at reducing targeted risks. This includes collaborating closely with deployed Directors and Subscriber stakeholders to ensure successful planning, implementation, and adoption of strategic objectives. Additionally, the Associate Director works in collaboration with the Sr. Project Manager to ensure consistent project management methodology is maintained across all clinical initiatives.

Responsibilities will include:

• Reviews project/service specific claims data and case files to identify emerging areas of risk and risk reduction opportunities
• Facilitates the compilation, analysis, and sharing of data arising out of clinical initiative related claims reviews
• Collaborates with Directors and Subscribers to promote alignment of strategic and project goals with Subscribers’ priorities and objectives
• Delineates clinical initiative’s project definition (e.g. Project Charter, Scope, Budget, Metrics, End State, Timeline, etc.)
• Develops and executes clinical initiative implementation plans and project plans to include key milestones and action plans
• Serves as primary point of contact for clinical, initiative-based activities
• Manages cross-institutional clinical collaboration, including the coordination of meetings, development of supporting materials, and follow-up
• Prepares and packages clinical initiative information for dissemination to internal and external customers
• Monitors and coordinates budget reports and variances
• Other tasks and duties as needed to support the team and/or business

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare risk management, patient safety, medical malpractice, and/or quality management desired
• A strategic multi-dimensional thinker
• Demonstrated ability to manage and execute large-scale, complicated projects with multiple teams
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated strength in teamwork and collaboration
• Knowledge of computer software programs, including demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
• Knowledge of evidence-based resources including proficiency with literature searches
• Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Services, Allied Health, or related field required – Master’s highly preferred
