Opportunity:

• 3+ month assignment
• Reports to the Director of Quality
• Serves as a highly visible, energetic champion for achieving compliance throughout the hospital with TJC accreditation standards and CMS Conditions of Participation (COPs)
• Serves as chair of the Accreditation oversight group
• Key contact and application manager, providing oversight for the Joint Commission extranet site and related quality reporting
• Provides oversight and coordinate ongoing readiness program through scheduled tracer activities, policy development
• Coordinate survey processes with external groups and internal surveys
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities such as Root Cause Analysis or Healthcare Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (HFMEA)
• Implements solutions borne out of a Root Cause Analysis or HFMEA

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in healthcare, behavioral science, or related field required
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
• Lean certification and experience preferred
• Five to seven years of relevant experience in hospital health care quality, patient safety, and/or risk management required
• Three to five years of supervisory or management experience preferred
• Master’s Degree in healthcare, behavioral science, or related field required
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
• Five to seven years of relevant experience in hospital health care quality, patient safety, and/or risk management required
• Three to five years of supervisory or management experience preferred
