About the Opportunity
Galileo Search seeks a dynamic and strategic Revenue Cycle Leader to drive operational excellence at a Critical Access Hospital in the Pacific Northwest. This role is pivotal in integrating clinical and financial workflows to ensure accurate charge capture, clean claim submission, and optimized reimbursement. Our ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, understands the nuances of rural healthcare, and is passionate about improving financial performance while supporting community care.
- Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in the rural Pacific Northwest
- Lead initiatives to align clinical documentation with billing processes using CommunityWorks EHR
- Identify and eliminate revenue leakage through improved charge capture and coding accuracy
- Streamline workflows to reduce accounts receivable days and accelerate payment cycles
- Manage and mentor a small, but dedicated revenue cycle staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning
- Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
- Provide training on best practices in billing, coding, and compliance
- Serve as a liaison between departments to ensure cohesive revenue operations
- Optimize EMR set-up and workflows
- Enhance communication between the revenue cycle and clinical operations teams
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management
- Strong expertise in CommunityWorks is required
- Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting strongly preferred
- Ability to analyze financial data, streamline processes, and achieve measurable improvements
- Working knowledge of State and Federal regulations relating to medical billing and payments
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach
- Ability to adapt quickly in an interim role and provide immediate impact
