Opportunity:

The Director reports to the Executive Director of Quality & Risk and will provide local support to the network risk management functions, and perform other responsibilities as required for the effective, safe, and efficient functioning/operation of the department and organization. This position collaborates and participates with regional leadership as needed and oversees two hospitals.

Qualifications:

• BSN required; Master’s degree highly recommended or level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a master’s degree, preferably in a healthcare related field
• RN Required
• CPHQ/CPHRM preferred, required within 3 years of employment
• Knowledge of and ability to apply Quality/Performance Improvement philosophy, principles, and technology
• Ability to demonstrate and provide examples of continuous personal development and improvement in each of the essential functions
• Understanding of external/internal customer’s needs, i.e. nursing, regulatory and compliance
• Cohesive team building skills, effective communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
